Ephrata East End Mart has been family owned and operated since its humble beginnings as a traveling housewares, hardware, and paint operation. David H. Burkholder took his stock across Lancaster and its surrounding counties in his stepvan.

Years later the Burkholder family opened the retail storefront, now Ephrata East End Mart, Inc. Today, more than 40 years later, David's children, Paul, Rhoda, Orpha, and Virgie own and operate this growing business.
